Spencer Houck

Since moving to Los Angeles in 2006, Spencer has been lucky enough to edit acclaimed television and films for Netflix, Fox Searchlight, Miramax and more. Standouts among these collaborations include the smash-hit COBRA KAI, NBC’s comedy darling COMMUNITY, Emmy-winning GRACE AND FRANKIE, and the hit Hank Azaria IFC series BROCKMIRE. Most recently, Spencer lent his skills to the film HAPPILY and Todd Strauss-Schulson’s meditation comedy SILENT RETREAT.

HAPPILY marks Spencer's second collaboration with writer/director BenDavid Grabinski, after cutting his wry sci-fi action-comedy short film COST OF LIVING nearly 10 years earlier. Spencer couldn't be more proud of their work on this film (or his ability to say he edited huge karate fights and a Lynchian dark romantic comedy in the same year).
